Hospitality tech on the Northern Beaches

January on the Northern Beaches, your holiday house in Avalon Beach is booked back to back, and the owner gets a message at 9pm: the Wi-Fi is gone. Someone unplugged the modem to charge a phone, and nobody nearby knows how to bring it back.

We set up beach cafes, holiday lets, and small stays so guests can connect without fuss and owners can check things from afar. Book an eligible visit online, or request a call back if you would rather talk first.

Hospitality tech · Northern Beaches

Is your Northern Beaches holiday let or cafe ready for the crowd that arrives the moment summer starts?

Trade here follows the weather and the school calendar. Quiet in July, flat out in January. We set up venue tech for the peak, with a guest network people can find, a staff side kept private, and gear that recovers after a power blip.

Holiday-season calls from the beaches

  • Guests unplugging the modem to charge a phone, then nobody can reconnect it.
  • Beach cafe terminals that lag when the post-swim queue reaches the door.
  • Upstairs bedrooms and decks in holiday homes with barely any signal.
  • Owners living elsewhere with no way to see whether the guest Wi-Fi is up.
  • Front-gate or driveway cameras that stopped recording over winter.

What we do after you reach out

  • We ask whether you are on site or managing the property from somewhere else.
  • Settings and passwords can often be sorted remotely; coverage and cameras usually need a visit.
  • You approve the figure first, whether it is one fix or a whole-house plan.

Beaches suburbs we travel to

Holiday homes in Avalon Beach and Bilgola, cafes along Collaroy and Curl Curl, venues near Dee Why and Brookvale, and waterside places around Church Point and Bayview. The brief rarely changes: guests connect easily, the owner's devices stay private, and the gear comes back by itself after a power cut.

Why Hospitality tech calls us

Why you call us: Northern Beaches hosts and cafes call before the summer bookings fill

  • What you can expect: Guest-proof setups

    • For you, modems tucked away and labelled so guests are less likely to unplug them.
    • For you, a guest network name and password that is easy to find and type.
  • How we help: Check it from home

    • For you, where the gear allows, owners can check the guest network from their phone.
    • For you, settings changed remotely between stays, so a visit is saved for real faults.
  • How we help: Done before the season

    • For you, coverage tested in bedrooms, decks, and backyards before the holiday rush.
    • We give you bigger installs booked for the cooler months when the houses sit empty.
  • For you: No fee for a failed repair

    • For you, if a fault on existing gear cannot be repaired, the repair fee is dropped.
    • Straight advice when an old router is costing you good reviews.
  • How we help: Changeover-friendly notes

    • You get a short card for cleaners and managers on what to check first.
    • We give you clear steps for bringing the network back after a power cut.
  • What you can expect: Host and guest kept apart

    • Your own laptops, cameras, and smart devices sit away from guest phones.
    • For you, footage and booking emails stay on the owner's side of the network.

What this covers

Beaches calls usually begin with a guest message - no Wi-Fi in the bedroom, a cafe terminal lagging, or a driveway camera gone quiet. Here is what we look after for holiday lets and venues.

  1. 01

    The first complaint

A bedroom with no signal, a queue at the terminal, or a check-in tablet that will not load.

  2. 02

    Owner and guest networks

Guests on their own Wi-Fi, while the owner's devices, payments, and bookings stay on a private one.

  3. 03

    Driveway and entry cameras

Cameras over driveways, gates, and shared entries, recording reliably and viewable from wherever you are.

  4. 04

    The gear behind the door

The modem, the desk computer or tablet, the printer, and the inbox that confirms each stay.

  5. 05

    Holiday let websites

A website for the house or cafe is quoted through Get a clear website quote, separate from visits.

The visit

How it works

  1. 1

    Share the guest message

Tell us what guests said, which room, and whether you are on site.

  2. 2

    Price before gear

A clear figure or written quote before anything is bought or mounted.

  3. 3

    Visit between stays

We come out on a vacant day; website work goes through the questionnaire.

FAQ

Common questions about Northern Beaches IT help

Yes, within limits. Many settings, passwords, and guest network changes can be handled remotely between stays. Physical faults, new access points, and cameras need someone on site, and we book those for a day the house is empty.

We leave notes your cleaner or manager can follow if the network drops while guests are in.

Often the modem has been unplugged, reset, or moved. Sometimes the bedrooms upstairs simply sit too far from it.

We put the gear somewhere sensible, label it, and add coverage where it is needed, so guests are not messaging you at night. Nothing extra starts unless you agree.

We do. Cafes, small restaurants, and stays around Dee Why, Collaroy, Curl Curl, and Brookvale are part of our regular visits.

For a venue, we look at the terminals, the order screens, and the guest network together, and plan any noisy work outside trading hours.

We look at the layout and what is already installed, then give you the cost before starting. Whole-house coverage or camera installs come as a written quote.

No Fix, No Repair Fee applies to repair work on existing equipment we cannot complete, so an unsuccessful repair is not billed as one.
