Security camera help on the Upper North Shore

When your camera went in, the hedge was knee high. Ten years later it fills half the frame, and the driveway under the gums stays dark well before dinner. Upper North Shore gardens grow, and camera views rarely keep up.

We re-aims, relocates, or adds cameras so the drive, front path, and back garden stay clear through every season, then check recording and phone viewing. Request a call back, or book an eligible visit online.

Security cameras · Upper North Shore

Has the garden slowly grown across your camera views, leaving the driveway in shade?

Established gardens, deep blocks, and older homes with long front paths are typical here. We check what each camera sees now, how much light reaches it under the canopy, and whether moving it beats buying a new one.

Upper North Shore camera concerns

  • Hedges and trees that have grown into the frame since installation.
  • Driveways under heavy canopy that turn grainy well before full dark.
  • Doorbell units on heritage porches dropping out when it rains.
  • Long front paths where visitors appear as dots near the street.
  • Older systems from a previous trade, with no notes and no app access.

Our way through it

  • We start by asking which views used to work and what has changed since.
  • Onsite, each angle is checked in daylight and low light, with relocation options noted.
  • You approve the written plan, then cameras are moved, added, and tested on your phone.

North Shore suburbs we visit for cameras

Garden-heavy blocks in Wahroonga and Pymble account for many of our camera visits, along with older homes in Killara and Lindfield. Gordon and Roseville bring a mix of houses and units, often wanting the front path and the car space visible from a phone at work.

FAQ

Common questions about Upper North Shore IT help

Usually. Often the camera can be moved a metre or two, raised, or tilted to see past new growth. Sometimes a second, smaller camera covers the gap better.

We show you each option on screen during the visit, and price any new hardware before it is fitted.

Heavy canopy cuts light early, and cameras switch to night mode late or struggle in between. Glare from a porch light can make faces harder still.

Adjusting the camera's settings, changing its angle, or adding a soft sensor light usually helps. We test it at dusk so you can see the change.

We trace each cable, identify the recorder, and work out which camera is which, then write it all down for you. Access is regained where the hardware allows.

From there you get a plain list of what works, what does not, and what it would cost to sort.

They do not have to. Smaller dome or turret cameras tucked under eaves, with cabling hidden in roof spaces where possible, keep things discreet.

We talk through positions with you first, so the house keeps its look and the cameras still see what you need.
